Most "best card" lists are ranked by who pays the most. Ours aren't. We run the same math we'd run for our own families, publish the weighting, and let the numbers pick the winners.
If a card we earn nothing from is the better pick, that's the one you'll see at the top.

The honest part
How we make money
When you apply through some of our links, the issuer may pay us a commission — at no cost to you. That funds the research. Crucially, it never changes the ranking: the scoring model runs first, commission data isn't an input, and we link to top picks we earn nothing from. The newsletter and word of mouth do the rest.
